Mental health isn't just about coping during tough times; it's about caring for your emotional well-being every day. Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, burned out, anxious, or need to talk to someone, there are resources available through your health plan and employer-sponsored benefits. The best part? Many of them are confidential, easy to access, and available at little or no cost to you.
Ways to Get Support
Most health plans include mental health services as part of your regular medical coverage. Depending on your plan, you may have access to in-person and virtual therapy with licensed professionals, psychiatric care and medication support, treatment for stress, anxiety, depression, etc., and coaching or counseling via phone, video, or app-based platforms. Check your member portal or ID card for the behavioral health contact number. You can also log in to your health plan's website to search for mental health providers in your network.
Digital Tools for Everyday Mental Wellness
Many insurance plans offer access to self-guided mental health tools and mobile apps that make support easy to access, anytime, anywhere. These may include guided meditations and breathing exercises, mood tracking and stress relief tools, access to mental health coaches, and wellness challenges. Visit your benefits portal to see what's available to you.
Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
Don't forget, if your company offers an EAP, you may have access to free short-term counseling sessions (often 3–6 per year), financial and legal consultations, work-life resources like stress management, parenting support, and more. Check with your Venbrook benefits contact for your company's EAP phone number or website.
You're Not Alone—And You Don't Have to Wait for a Crisis
Reaching out for mental health support is a strong, healthy step. Whether you're working through something challenging or want to improve your emotional fitness, help is here for you. If you're not sure where to start, reach out to your Venbrook benefits representative, and they can point you in the right direction confidentially.
