Senior Financial Analyst
Job Summary
Venbrook Insurance is seeking a talented and experienced Senior Financial Analyst to join our Financial Planning and Analysis group. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the financial strategy and operational performance of our organization.
Position Overview
Reporting to the Manager of FP&A, the Senior Financial Analyst will serve as a dedicated finance business partner to internal corporate departments coupled with assisting in the consolidation of Venbrook OpCo P&L's. This role requires a highly analytical, collaborative, and results-oriented individual who can translate complex financial data into actionable insights.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Planning and Analysis
Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses for assigned corporate departments
Provide expense monitoring and actionable recommendations that support organizational goals
Design and manage robust financial models and KPI dashboards to monitor and enhance operational performance
Prepare insightful reports and presentations for senior management, enabling data-driven strategy
System Implementation and Process Improvement
Support the implementation of Adaptive Insights, our new financial planning and forecasting tool
Review accounting transactions for data accuracy while automating and improving reporting processes
Business Partnering and Strategic Support
Collaborate with Finance Leadership on impactful ad hoc projects that shape company strategy
Add insight to supported departments through enhanced reporting and financial analysis with guidance from FP&A management
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
4+ years of progressive FP&A experience, including both corporate and segment FP&A
Advanced Excel skills and expertise in financial systems (Adaptive Insights preferred; experience with Hyperion/Essbase, Anaplan, Snowflake, PowerBI, or Tableau is a plus)
Strong financial modeling, analysis, and presentation skills
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insights

In-Office Expectations
This role is primarily hybrid, requiring in-office presence twice a week
Candidates near Irvine are expected to work from the new Irvine office twice a week
Candidates closer to Woodland Hills will work from that office twice a week
For Irvine-based employees, periodic travel (approximately once per quarter) to the Woodland Hills office will be required
