Everyone experiences stress, anxiety, or emotional ups and downs—and getting support is a smart, healthy step. If you’re a Kaiser Permanente member, you have access to a wide range of confidential mental health resources designed to support your emotional wellness.
Accessing Therapy & Mental Health Services
You don’t need a referral to speak with a mental health professional at Kaiser. Options include:
- Schedule video or in-person therapy appointments
- Get support for anxiety, depression, grief, substance use, and more
- Access psychiatry and medication management, if needed.
Call your local Kaiser mental health department or sign in online to request an appointment.
Self-Guided Support:
Kaiser provides digital tools you can use anytime that included in your plan at no cost to you. Visit kp.org/selfcareapps to get started.
- Calm App provides meditations, sleep stories, and relaxation exercises for adults, teens, and kids.
- myStrength App provides personalized, interactive programs for managing stress, anxiety, and more, all available 24/7!
Wellness Classes & Support Groups:
You have access to a variety of health and wellness classes—many of them free and available online. Topics include mindfulness and stress management; building resilience and emotional strength; support for parenting, caregiving, grief, and more.

Care That Meets You Where You Are.
Whether you’re reaching out for yourself or exploring ways to build healthier habits, you don’t have to do it alone. Support is available, and it's okay to use it. Visit your member portal or contact Kaiser Permanente directly to take the next step when you’re ready.
