Lee’s in-depth understanding of key HR strategic issues encompasses the financial, contractual, and quality-of-care issues at the heart of health plan design.

Lee Exton is Managing Director of Employee Benefits for Venbrook Insurance Services, LLC. Lee is accountable for all aspects of benefits and total rewards. Lee develops custom business solutions to address client needs and business challenges. He serves as an advocate ensuring his clients receive the best Venbrook has to offer. Lee is responsible for the strategic planning, service, financial and contractual aspects of his client relationships.

Lee has extensive experience in helping major corporate clients in the development of strategic plans aimed at benefit plan cost management. He evaluates alternative delivery and financing arrangements to manage costs and healthcare quality and enhance the overall value of benefits programs. He specializes in developing custom programs for employer organizations of all sizes. Before joining Venbrook Lee was Principal with Mercer, Vice President at Keenan, Healthcare Practice Leader at Segal, and served as a Consultant for Towers Watson.

Lee’s in-depth understanding of key HR strategic issues encompasses the financial, contractual, and quality-of-care issues at the heart of health plan design. Lee has over twenty-five years of benefits consulting experience in both the public and private sectors. He has appeared in the Wall Street Journal, Los Angeles Business Journal, Los Angeles Times, Business Insurance, and Workforce Management. He is a frequent speaker and has presented to such organizations as IPMA, PIHRA, California CPA Association, IBF, Health and Benefits Expo. In addition, he has appeared on ABC’s Financial Watch.

Lee holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of California, Irvine.  In addition, he was an instructor for the Wharton Schools’ Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS) program.
