Venbrook Group Names Gig Palmer as New Chief Financial Officer

Seasoned Financial & Investment Banking Executive Gig Palmer Joins Venbrook Group

Los Angeles, California, April 28, 2016. Venbrook Group, LLC announced that Gig Palmer has joined the firm as Chief Financial Officer. Gig will oversee internal and external financial reporting, mergers and acquisitions and capital formation activities for the Venbrook Group and its subsidiaries. Gig will also lead the accounting and finance functions by establishing best-practice processes for strategic planning, forecasting, and budget management.

Gig comes to Venbrook from Raymond James & Associates, where he served as Managing Director in the Financial Services Investment Banking Group. Throughout his investment banking career, Gig focused specifically on the insurance and insurance services sectors. Prior to joining Raymond James in 2006, Gig served as Vice President at Deutsche Bank where he worked with the Financial Institutions Group providing capital raising, structuring, and merger and acquisition advisory services. Gig also held investment banking positions at KeyBanc Capital Markets and Advest, Inc., always with a focus on the property/casualty and life and health insurance sectors. Gig earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of South Carolina and a Bachelor of Arts in Foreign Language and Social Science from Sewanee: The University of the South.
